LOS ANGELES (KABC) — A Delta flight traveling from Los Angeles International Airport to Dallas temporarily lost power before landing.
Delta flight 521 was approaching the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport on Thursday when the cabin temporarily lost power, according to the airline.
“The crew followed established procedures to and quickly restore power,” Delta said in a statement. “As a precaution, they declared an emergency and landed without incident, before continuing to the gate. The safety of our customers and people comes before all else and we sincerely apologize for the experience.”
The Federal Aviation Administration said the aircraft had generator issues but continued to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and landed safely.
The plane was carrying 131 passengers and six crew members, the airline said.
