Locally-owned bookstore and tea room opens in Northeast San Antonio
This new business near Garden Ridge is both a bookstore and a tea room. On the tea menu is an assortment of curated teas, from casual green tea to international flavors, according to the business’s website. There are also pastries and smaller savory bites to eat; plus, guests can get their own tea and book boxes to give as gifts or for personal enjoyment.
New coffee shop, market now open on Main Street in Boerne
This new cafe has bagels, sandwiches and specials from local bakeries in the Hill Country region. For drinks, Selah Café will be serving a traditional espresso menu, featuring house-made syrups and flavors.
Double-decker tea and touring experience opens in San Antonio
Attendees receive a 90-minute scenic tour of San Antonio while also participating in a traditional tea room experience. The tour begins at 849 E. Commerce St. in downtown San Antonio.
Patrons get to drink and eat a curated selection of tea and baked goods while receiving live entertainment and a guided narration on the tour.

Customers can get steak & eggs for dinner and build their own bowl with rice, beans, sauces and a range of meat options, according to the menu.
West Coast chicken chain to expand to San Antonio
Starbird serves a variety of chicken-based entrees and sandwiches, from fried chicken strips to gourmet sandwiches and more, according to the menu. The restaurant also serves specialty salads and desserts.

Celebrate the opening of this new burger bar in North San Antonio. There will be live music, prizes and the first beer, non-alcoholic lemonade or margarita is free for all attending.
