TONIGHT:

The development of healthier showers with broad coverage will occur in the hours between 4 and 9 AM. Rain may be heavy at times, but overall, the showers will be pretty steady. Morning temperatures will fall into the 60s. You’ll want to keep the umbrella with you as rain showers will remain possible throughout the day.

Forecast Low Temperatures for Monday Morning, October 13, 2025.

MONDAY:

As we go into Monday afternoon, skies will continue to remain overcast, but rain coverage will diminish. High temperatures will [eak into the mid and upper 70s around the area. Clouds may break further off the Caprock and allow some quick daytime heating. Winds will be from the southeast between 10-15 MPH. A cold front will try to reach our far northwestern corner by the afternoon as well. It may help bring cooler temperatures up there, but conditions will not be that different for the majority of the area.

Forecast High Temperatures for Monday Afternoon, October 13, 2025

EXTENDED FORECAST:

Our plume of moisture from the southwest will diminish by Monday night. Another high-pressure system will build over southern Texas by Tuesday and dominate our weather pattern through about Friday. After Monday, skies will be mostly sunny and temperatures will warm into the mid-80s. Our pattern will change on Friday when we have sustained winds from the west. These will develop ahead of what we’re anticipating to be a pretty noticeable cool down for the area. Right now, our models have different timings for the cold front at the end of the week, but we will be watching closely to make sure you are prepared. This cool down is not expected to bring freezing temperatures, but it will definitely be much more fall-like.
