It was a mix of emotions in Idaho’s locker room after the Vandals’ 78-47 loss to Houston in the first round of the NCAA Tournament: pride, joy, sadness, excitement for the future, among others.
But despite the outcome, the overwhelming theme was that they wouldn’t have wanted to do it with anyone else by their side.
After the loss, we talked with several Vandals inside their locker room, including Idaho’s leading scorer, Kolton Mitchell (14 points), along with Isaiah Brickner, Brody Rowbury, Jack Payne, Trevon Blassingame, Jackson Rasmussen, Seth Joba and Biko Johnson.
