CIUDAD JUAREZ, MEXICO (KFOX14/CBS4) — At least five family members have been arrested in Ciudad Juárez in connection with the death of a young boy whose body was found wrapped in a blanket in a field.

Authorities in Juarez found the body of a young boy, now identified as Eitan Daniel, wrapped in a blanket and abandoned in a field, according to information reported by media partner KINT.

Investigators believe Daniel was killed inside a home that was shown in a video shared by KINT.

Authorities told KINT that the child’s mother and father are the prime suspects, but that several others have been arrested, including the boy’s grandmother, great-grandmother, and uncle.

Investigators said the family members may have helped cover up the crime.
