Woman told police she stabbed her boyfriend in self-defense.
ARLINGTON, Texas — Arlington police are investigating a Friday morning stabbing that sent a woman and her boyfriend to the hospital.Â
Officers responded around 12:30 a.m. to the 4900 block of Silber Road after receiving a 911 call from a woman who said she stabbed her boyfriend in self-defense, according to police. When officers arrived, they found both individuals with significant injuries and both had to be rushed to the hospital.Â
According to police, the woman told investigators she and her boyfriend, 33-year-old Keith Green, were arguing when he allegedly began physically assaulting her. She said she grabbed a knife to defense herself.Â
Police said Green remains hospitalized, but once released, he’ll be booked into jail on charges of assault family violence impeding breath and assault family violence with a previous conviction. They added Green has an active warrant out of Tarrant County for Assault Family Violence with Previous Conviction.
As of now, the woman has not been charged.
