If you think life has been a lot lately, you’re not alone.

Between work, bills, notifications that never stop, and whatever chaos the week decides to throw your way, it’s no surprise more people are feeling completely drained!

Now, there’s science to prove we’re all a little burnt out; according to new data, burnout isn’t just a feeling, it’s officially a Texas problem.

Texas Ranks Among Most Burnt Out States

A new study from virtual executive assistant service Viva Talent took a deep dive into burnout across all 50 states, analyzing things like work hours, sleep habits, and even how often people are searching for help online.

The results were not that great for us; Texas ranked 9th most burned-out state in the country, with a Leadership Burnout Score of 75.91!

The study found that Texans are putting in long hours- averaging 35.8 work hours per week, one of the highest among the top 10 states. On top of that, about 37.1% of adults in Texas are getting less than 7 hours of sleep, which is basically a recipe for feeling exhausted 24/7.

It’s obvious we’re tired!
