JACKSONVILLE, Ala. – The Sam Houston volleyball team fall in four sets against Jax State at Pete Mathews Coliseum on Saturday.
 
The Bearkats (8-15, 0-10 CUSA) saw a repeat of Friday night by taking the first set 25-14 with a five-point scoring run and later fell in three straight sets. The Kats hit .226 and recorded 7 total blocks.
 
Lillian Hamilton and Chelsea Butler both had double digit kills. Hamilton led the Kats with 11 and Butler used her IQ of the court to put up 10. Rachelle Reed led the defense with four blocks. Avery Fowler had 21 assists on the day.
 
The Bearkats will return home for their match up against Kennesaw State on Friday at Johnson Coliseum.
