Depending on how tuned into French culture you are, you might not be familiar with Café Feuillette. But trust us, it’s huge in France. The cafe is a spin-off concept from the Boulangerie Fueillette empire of over 100 locations across the La Republique. This summer, the renowned French coffee shop plans to make its U.S. debut in none other than, Houston, Texas.
Café Fueillette is a concept by renowned pastry chef Jean-François Feuillette. Having trained in the likes of the Four Season Hotel George V and Pierre Herme in Paris, the chef’s Feuillette empire traces back to 2005, when the chef purchased a small neighborhood bakery in Blois.

A few years later, Boulangerie Fueillette brand launched as a large, bakery-house concept. The concept was a hit, that which would expand across France with over 100 locations. This past year, Feuillette spun off of Boulangerie with the chic, urban-formatted Cafe Feuillette.
Opening in River Oaks this summer, the French-style cafe will feature its staple food and beverage menu. Here, Houstonians will be able to enjoy French patisserie essentials like financiers and caneles, as well as stuffed madeleines, and macarons – otherwise, the chef’s first claim to fame.
Debatably, the cafe is most known for its pastry drinks. With options that include the Marshmallow Bear Cold Brew, Paris-Brest Hot Chocolate, and Vanilla Flan Latte, these libations offer drinkable interpretations of iconic French desserts.

“I’m thrilled to bring the Café Feuillette concept to the United States and especially to Houston,” said Feuillette in a statement. “This city truly won me over—its energy, cultural richness, and culinary scene made it the ideal place to introduce our French coffee shop concept abroad.”
Cafe Fueillette is scheduled to open at 4444 Westheimer Rd. in River Oaks late summer 2026.
