SAN ANTONIO – A man was injured in a hit-and-run crash early Saturday morning near downtown.
The incident happened around 2 a.m. in the 500 block of East Cesar Chavez Boulevard.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, a 26-year-old man was sleeping in a parking lot when he was struck by a car. He was dragged several feet before the vehicle came to a stop.
The driver then left the scene without stopping to provide aid. The driver and vehicle have not yet been located.
The man was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
