Atmos Energy crews are continuing to work Saturday on a natural gas outage that started Thursday evening following a house fire in Lake Dallas that injured one person, the energy corporation said in an update.

As a result of the fire, natural gas services were turned off for many customers over the past two days, according to online updates provided by Atmos.

Many Lake Dallas residents were displaced following the fire as emergency and utility crews worked to fix the issue. The updates said the corporation has lifted evacuations for many impacted residents and is helping the rest access their homes as needed.

Crews are working on restoring services in three phases: turn off phase, testing phase and turn on phase, the updates said. On Friday, energy crews completed the turn off phase and moved into the testing phase.
