Dallas Trinity FC faces Sporting JAX on Sunday with special guests from the pioneering 1984 Dallas Sting, also honoring Women’s History Month.

Dallas Trinity FC (8-6-5, 29 points) and Sporting JAX (11-4-4, 37 points) meet for the third and final time in the regular season on Sunday. 

DTFC comes off a match where they dropped points against Lexington SC, leading 2-1 for most of the second half but allowing a game-tying goal in stoppage time.

There will also be a special guest at Sunday’s game. Thirteen members of the legendary 1984 Dallas Sting — the first U.S. women’s soccer team to compete internationally – will be in attendance and honored prior to kickoff. The Sting were trailblazers in early women’s soccer and the first all-girls club in the U.S. In 1984, the teenage Sting stunned the soccer world, defeating Australia, Japan, China and Italy to win the championship, becoming the first American team to capture a major international title.


Dallas Trinity FC will also celebrate Girl Scouts Day + Women’s History Month on Sunday. The Fan Zone will feature women-owned businesses. During halftime, fans can cheer on a performance by Uplift Dance Project, followed by a “Parade of Troops” from the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas. And fans will get free Girl Scout Cookies upon entry (while supplies last).
