An AMBER Alert has been issued after two children were reportedly abducted and last seen Saturday in a small town 60 miles outside of Lubbock.

JUSTICEBURG, Texas — An AMBER Alert has been issued for two children who were reported to have been abducted.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Adams County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado, the AMBER Alert was issued late Saturday night for 11-year-old Cindy Casas Mejia and 13-year-old Edward Casas Mejia.

Officials said both children were last seen Saturday around 9 a.m. at an unknown location in Justiceburg, Texas, which is about 60 miles southeast of Lubbock. The suspect has been identified as 31-year-old Magali Sanchez Mejia.

Details surrounding the incident are still limited, but according to officials, Sanchez is driving a blue 2008 BMW 328i with Colorado license plate 7785345. Officials also say Sanchez is 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs about 130 pounds, and was last spotted with black and blue hair.

At this time, no photos of the vehicle or children have been released, but officials say Edward is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 210 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and black shorts.

Meanwhile, Cindy is described as standing 5 feet 2 inches and weighing 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing glasses, spaghetti straps and jeans.
