TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas — A suspect is in custody after SWAT team members responded to a barricaded subject call in eastern Travis County early Friday morning.
The Travis County Sheriff’s Office reported around 4:35 a.m. that SWAT was working a barricaded subject call on SH 130 near US 290.
TCSO said that the situation began after a deputy attempted a traffic stop just after 3 a.m., which evolved into the driver evading arrest.
Southbound lanes of SH 130 were shut down while the Sheriff’s Office were at the scene.

TCSO reported that the subject was detained without incident at around 4:45 a.m., and that deputies were reopening roadways in the area. Roads were reopened at around 4:55 a.m., according to the Sheriff’s Office.
