An Austin-based brewpub is beginning the first stages of expansion in the state with a new location opening in San Antonio.

Pinthouse Pizza—located at 5534 N. Loop 1604 W. in northwest San Antonio—is set to open this week, although no exact date has been announced by the business.
According to a March 18 Facebook post from the local franchisee, it was set to open “sometime next week.”
On the menu
Pinthouse Pizza is known for a wide range of craft beers and handcrafted burgers, according to previous reporting from Community Impact.
Specific menu items include the Texas Wagyu Smash Burger and the Austin Hot Chicken sandwich.
The local chain has four additional locations in the Austin area, including the company’s brewing facility, according to their website.
