Taylor Sheridan’s Lioness has closed a bridge in Fort Worth today for filming.
The Paramount+ series began production on its third season in Cowtown in October 2025. The show has already filmed in and around the city, including in north Fort Worth at SGS Studios, in downtown at Wicked Butcher and in the University West neighborhood near Texas Christian University.
Parts of West Lancaster Avenue, and the West Lancaster Avenue bridge, are impacted by filming on Monday, March 23.
This is a different closure from the one Lioness has planned for University Drive on Tuesday, March 24, and Wednesday, March 25. Here’s what to know.

‘Lioness’ to close bridge in Fort Worth
Lioness is closing West Lancaster Avenue between University Drive and Summit Avenue on Monday, according to a city street-use permit.
That stretch of Lancaster will be fully closed from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. In addition, there are a few other closures during the same time:
Two-lane closure on West Lancaster Avenue between Summit Avenue and Henderson StreetFull street closure on Norwood Street between Bledsoe Street and West Lancaster AvenueFull street closure on Currie Street between Bledsoe Street and West Lancaster Avenue
Lioness is filming driving scenes today.
Fort Worth police will be on-site to facilitate traffic and all local residents/businesses will have access to their properties at all times, per the permit. Once filming wraps, traffic operations will return to normal.
