Fifth grader Crystal Allen came out as the top chef during cooking competition hosted at Trimble Tech High School.
Crystal, who attends FWISD’s C.C. Moss Elementary, will represent her district in the regional competition for Future Chefs National Challenge by Sodexo.
Crystal’s winning dish was fresh crepes with lavender meringue, served with a hibiscus lemonade.
