A 13-year-old boy died days after being wounded in a Red Bird shooting, Dallas police officials announced Monday.

Officers were dispatched about 10:50 p.m. March 11 to the 7400 block of Pin Tail, near Hampton Road, where they found a juvenile shot by an unknown suspect.

According to online records from the Dallas County medical examiner’s office, the juvenile was identified as Marcus Reeves Jr. He was pronounced dead the morning of March 14.

No additional information about the shooting, including potential suspects, was immediately available.
