Celebrate the start of baseball season at Riders Field during the free Raising Cane’s Kickoff to Baseball event. Fans of all ages can enjoy catch in the outfield, batting practice in the cages, inflatables, playground access, mascot appearances and VIP ballpark tours. McKinney Half

Dragon Trails

Step back in time and let your imagination roam as you explore one of McKinney’s scenic nature trails with an added surprise. The seasonal outdoor exhibit has animatronic dragons lining the trails, connecting myth and science through hands-on family fun.

Flip Circus

Through Mar. 31 | Riders Field, Frisco

Flip Circus brings its red-and-white striped, climate-controlled big top to Frisco for the first time when it sets up at Riders Field. Created by the Vazquez family of Circus Vazquez fame, the all-new production blends world-class circus talent with modern spectacle. Expect two hours of acrobatics, comedy and high-flying, death-defying performances in a contemporary take on the classic American circus.

Soccer: More Than a Game

As North Texas prepares for the global spotlight of the FIFA World Cup, the Perot is kicking off the excitement with Soccer: More Than a Game. The 10,000-square-foot interactive exhibition explores the science behind the world’s most popular sport, from the physics of a perfectly curved free kick to the strategy behind championship teams. Through hands-on experiences and STEM-focused displays, visitors of all ages can discover the science, skill and spirit that power the game.

Joy: A Solo Exhibition | Paintings by Emmanuel Gillespie

Feb. 6–Mar. 28 | ArtCentre of Plano

Dallas-based artist and educator Emmanuel Gillespie presents Joy, a solo exhibition exploring identity, history and the lived Black experience in America. Blending painting and sculpture, his work pairs scholarship with inventive technique. Join for an Artist Talk on March 6, 6:30 – 7:30, at the ArtCentre.
