Cody Johnson breaks all-time RODEOHOUSTON concert-only attendance record

The trio set an all-time, concert-only RODEOHOUSTON record when more than 80,000 fans packed into NRG Stadium.

Johnson, Pardi and Houser closed out the 2026 Rodeo in style. The exact number of fans announced by Rodeo officials was 80,203.

It was the Rodeo’s fourth full-length concert in history. The last time an artist put on a full-length show was George Strait in 2022.

Johnson, a native Texan, has now played the Rodeo six times — in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, and now, 2026.
