Two suspicious overnight fires under investigation

SAN ANTONIO – Arson investigators are looking into two suspicious overnight fires that broke out in different parts of the city.

The first one happened around 10:30 p.m. Monday on Park Court near North Flores Street, just north of downtown.

We’re told the fire started outside of a commercial laundry service. The business was closed at the time, so luckily no one was hurt.

Fire officials say a pile of oil rags might have caused the fire.

In another incident, a trailer was destroyed in a fire on the South Side.

That fire happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday on East Harding Boulevard near Southeast Military Drive.

Firefighters arrived to find the trailer fully engulfed in flames but were able to quickly put it out.

The fire is under investigation.
