EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – One person was killed in a crash on Falcon Highway Monday night.
Troopers responded to the crash around 8:11 p.m. on Falcon Highway near McCandlish Road, just west of Curtis Road.
According to Colorado State Patrol, the crash involved one vehicle with one person inside. They said the vehicle was heading west on Falcon Highway when it crashed and wrapped around a tree.
As of 8:39 p.m., Falcon Highway was closed in both directions, just east of Curtis Road, for the crash. As of 3:40 a.m. Tuesday, the Colorado Department of Transportation traffic map is showing the roadway back open.
An investigation is underway.
