Allen ISD is hosting Community Engagement Night in April as a way for parents and students to get ready for the upcoming summer break.

The event will be held from 5:30-8 p.m. April 7 at the Allen ISD Steam Center, located at 1680 Ridgeview Drive. A complimentary pizza dinner will be offered at 5:30 p.m., and informational sessions are expected to start at 6 p.m.

Families can choose from 13 informational sessions touching on a variety of topics, including development of healthy habits, maintaining routines and career development. Sessions are scheduled during two time windows between 6-8 p.m., according to Allen ISD’s website.
The event is designed to “equip families with tools, strategies and practical ideas to support student growth” during the summer, the website states. Attendees will connect with district leaders, campus staff and community partners during the event.
