Victim rushed to hospital after being shot by robber

A woman was shot during a robbery at a business in north Houston Tuesday, according to Houston Police Department.
Officers with the North Belt division responded to the 12800 block of Airline Drive, where they found an adult female suffering from a gunshot wound.
Authorities said the shooting occurred during a robbery inside the business. It’s unclear which business was robbed, but the situation happened in a strip center including a large EZ Pawn location.
The victim was transported to a hospital and is currently listed in stable condition.
Police said the suspect, described only as a male, fled the scene and remains at large.
Investigators are actively working to gather more information as they process the scene.
Additional details have not yet been released.
