CONROE, Texas (TNND) — Three people, including a 3-year-old boy and two adults, were found dead outside a Texas home in what authorities described as a suspected murder-suicide.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office identified the adults as 39-year-old Maria Ramirez and 52-year-old Salvador Ramirez.
Please take a moment to pray for the families, friends, and everyone in our community touched by this tragedy,” Sheriff Wesley Doolittle said in a statement he shared on Facebook. “May they find comfort and peace in the days ahead as we lean on God for strength and healing.”
While Dolittle did not say what led up to the deaths, he noted that a weapon was recovered during the investigation.
The sheriff’s office said deputies responded to a house in Conroe on Thursday around 3:45 p.m. When they arrived, they discovered three bodies outside the home.
Preliminary facts and evidence suggest the incident is believed to be a murder-suicide involving one adult male, one adult female, and one child,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement posted on Facebook.
Based on the initial investigation, authorities said it was an isolated incident, adding that there isn’t a threat to the public.
This is a tragic event,” Doolittle said during a news conference. “It will shock people’s conscience to see this kind of thing happening in our community, and that our thoughts and prayers are with the family members, especially those that have discovered this horrible incident, and that we will do our best to uncover all the facts and circumstances surrounding it.”Comment with Bubbles
