SAN ANTONIO — A woman was arrested after fleeing Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers near U.S. 281 and Jones Maltsberger on the North Side.
The incident began at 1:42 p.m. on Tuesday, when a trooper attempted to stop a 2008 black Ford Edge for a traffic violation on Vermont Street.
The driver fled and began evading the trooper through various parts of San Antonio.
Troopers eventually disabled the vehicle and the driver, a 35-year-old woman, was taken into custody. She was also transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
DPS said the woman will be charged with evading arrest/detention in a motor vehicle.
