A fire alarm was activated at about 12:30 p.m., according to a statement from a NorthPark representative.
Dallas Police are investigating the security incident and are asking people to avoid the intersection at North Central Expressway and Northwest Highway due to congestion.
Texas Sky Ranger could see several people gathering in the parking lots outside of the mall and moving across the street.
