EL PASO, Texas – (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso business and community leaders are set to gather downtown this morning for the El Paso Chamber of Commerce’s annual State of the City address, where Mayor Renard Johnson is expected to outline key initiatives and goals for the year ahead.

The State of the City is held once a year and is designed to give residents and community stakeholders an update on where major investments and projects stand.

According to the chamber, this year’s discussion will cover a range of topics, including infrastructure development, public safety and economic growth.

The event is scheduled to be held inside the convention center in downtown El Paso from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Tickets are sold out.

KFOX14 will be bringing live coverage of the address.

Anchor Robert Holguin is also scheduled to host a Q&A session with Johnson starting around 12:30.
