Trammell Crow Co. announced March 25 the start of construction for Knox & McKinney, a 12-story office tower bringing even more activity to an area already red hot with development.

The high-rise project, first announced in April 2025, is slated to include 280,000 square feet of office space as well as 20,000 square feet of ground-floor luxury retail and dining. Knox & McKinney is scheduled to deliver in 2028.

Global law firm Jones Day will take up 76,000 square feet at the rising tower at 4544 McKinney Ave. The law firm previously announced it would take over a 73,000-square-foot space at Harwood 15. Partner-in-Charge of Jones Day’s Texas Region Matt Kairis told Dallas Business Journal the law firm terminated that lease and will go to Knox & McKinney instead.
