Many downtown buildings and landmarks in Dallas, Denton and Fort Worth are being tinted with the signature color of the charity organization this evening.
DALLAS — If you’re in the middle of Dallas, Fort Worth or Denton tonight, look up, and you’ll likely see red. Just don’t mistake it for anger.
Instead, the temporary tinting of red on buildings and landmarks throughout the North Texas skies is meant to represent and recognize Red Cross Giving Day, an acknowledgement that is included in the Red Cross’ annual Red Cross Month celebration.Â
According to the Red Cross North Texas Region, the tinting “highlights how neighbors step up to support one another during disasters and emergencies.”
