AUSTIN, Texas — A boil water notice has been issued for part of Dripping Springs due to an equipment failure that caused low water tank levels.

According to the West Travis County Public Utility Agency, the notice affects customers located from from Circle Drive to the Dripping Springs city limits along U.S. 290. The notice is also affecting schools on the eastern side of Dripping Springs ISD, including: Cypress Springs Elementary, Rooster Springs Elementary, Sycamore Springs Elementary School, Sycamore Springs Middle School and Wildwood Springs Elementary.

Customers are also being asked not to use their irrigation systems. People who are affected who wish to learn more can visit the West Travis County Public Utility Agency’s website.
