1 person dead after an overnight disturbance in Arlington, police say

When officers arrived on the scene, they found one person had been shot. The victim later died at the hospital.

ARLINGTON, Texas — One person is dead after a disturbance in Arlington early Thursday morning, police say. 

According to officers on scene, police responded around 1:30 a.m. to a shooting call in the 200 block of Sherry Street. When officers arrived on the scene, they found one person had been shot, officials said. 

The victim was transported to the hospital, where they died, police say. 

The cause of the shooting remains under investigation.
