Two shot during Fort Worth robbery attempt
This morning at around 4:59am, Fort Worth police responded to a shooting in the 3300 block of S. Hughes Avenue.
When officers arrived, they located two men with gunshot wounds. One victim had a gunshot to the lower face area the other victim suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh area. Both sustained serious injuries.
The victims/witnesses stated that a group of men approached them and told them to give them their valuables. When one of them refused, the suspects opened fire.
The suspects fled the scene after the shooting.
