Happy Thursday,

Have you been meaning to explore Fort Worth’s art galleries and museums? Grab your chance this Saturday as nearly 30 art spaces open their doors for extended hours during Spring Gallery Night.

Participating venues include Fort Works Art, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary that night. Contemporary artist Crystal Wagner returns to Cowtown to create an immersive installation at the space during the celebration.

I interviewed Wagner when she visited Fort Worth in 2022 during my time as a multimedia fellow for the Report. She was in the middle of creating a unique sculpture at the gallery inspired by tree root systems.

It was one of my favorite stories to write that summer. Although when I read it now, I can’t help but cringe — I’ve become a much better writer since then.

What’s your favorite venue to visit during Gallery Night? Let me know by replying to this email.
