PENSACOLA, Fla. — A 62-year-old woman was sentenced to 27 years in prison for a Pensacola Beach DUI crash that killed a 28-year-old Texas motorcyclist.

A judge sentenced Ann Killough on Wednesday to 15 years for vehicular homicide and 12 years for DUI manslaughter. Her prison sentence is followed by three years probation.

Killough’s drivers license is also revoked permanently.

The Pensacola Beach woman — jailed since July 17, 2025 — will receive some credit for time served, according to court documents.

Killough previously pleaded no contest to the charges in January. She had faced up to a maximum of 30 years in prison.

The crash happened on June 21, 2025, around 3 a.m. on Via De Luna Drive near Avenida 19.

According to Florida Highway, Killough rear-ended 28-year-old Texas motorcyclist Scout Anderson with her BMW SUV as she was driving over 100 mph in a 35 mph zone.

FHP says upon colliding, Killough did not immediately stop and instead pushed the Anderson approximately 400 feet before stopping. He was pronounced dead on scene.

Following the crash, law enforcement says Killough’s speech was slurred and “thick tounged,” while she also had glassy and bloodshot eyes. Troopers found several opened bottles of liquor in her vehicle.

Killough told troopers she had “one beer and one Crown [Royal] with water” at Sandshakers on the beach prior to the crash, according to the report. She refused to submit to field sobriety tests.

Anderson’s wife was reportedly pregnant with their first child at the time of the crash. He and his wife had recently married in May 2025.
