EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Blue Bell is rolling out a new limited-time ice cream flavor that combines three classic desserts into one scoop.
Brookie À La Mode Ice Cream arrived in stores beginning today, March 26, Blue Bell announced from Brenham, Texas. A “brookie” is a combination of a brownie and a chocolate chip cookie, and the new flavor builds on that with a brown sugar ice cream base.
Blue Bell described Brookie À La Mode as a rich, creamy brown sugar ice cream loaded with chunks of brownies and soft chocolate chip cookie pieces.
We enjoy finding new ways to top already delicious desserts,” said Sara Schramm, Blue Bell marketing brand manager. “Blue Bell Ice Cream is the perfect addition to a brookie. Our new flavor starts with a delicious brown sugar ice cream, loaded with chunks of chewy brownies and soft chocolate chip cookies in every bite. It is the best of both, or all three worlds!
Brookie À La Mode is available in half-gallon and pint sizes, but only for a limited time.
Blue Bell also announced Honey Vanilla Ice Cream, described as a honey vanilla flavored ice cream. It is available in pint size while supplies last.
For customers looking for more protein, Blue Bell said it released a new high-protein dairy dessert in March. The PRO pints, with up to 12 grams of protein per serving, are available in Chocolate, Coffee, Salted Caramel, Strawberry and Vanilla.
