WACO, Texas – The UT Arlington track & field team continues its outdoor season this weekend, traveling to Waco for the Clyde Hart Classic at Clyde Hart Track & Field Stadium, which is set for Friday, March 27 to Saturday, March 28.
 
Competition will begin Friday morning at 11 a.m. CT with the men’s hammer throw, followed by the women’s. Field events will continue from 12-5:15 p.m., including the men’s and women’s pole vault, long jump and discus.
 
Friday’s running events are set to start at 5:30 p.m. with the women’s 200m, followed by the men’s. The evening slate will also include the men’s and women’s 400m hurdles, 1500m and 5000m, with competition scheduled to conclude around 8 p.m.

Saturday’s events will also begin at 11 a.m., starting with the men’s and women’s javelin. Field events will once again precede running events and include the triple jump, high jump and shot put.

Running events on Saturday are slated to begin at 12:30 p.m. with preliminary heats of the 100m hurdles. The schedule will also feature the 4×100 relay, 3000m steeplechase, 100m, 400m and 800m.

The meet will conclude with the 4x400m relays, with the women’s race scheduled for 4:10 p.m. and the men’s to follow at 4:20 p.m.

Along with UT Arlington and host Baylor, teams scheduled to compete include Abilene Christian, Stephen F. Austin, TCU, Sam Houston State, Louisiana Tech, Tarleton State, St. Edwards, Louisiana-Monroe, St. Thomas, Huston-Tillotson, Arkansas and Oklahoma State.
