TULSA, Okla. — Authorities say they have arrested an Oklahoma man after he allegedly robbed a child on their way to school.

Officials with the Tulsa Police Department say they responded to a reported robbery on Wednesday morning near 62nd and Mingo in Tulsa.

When they arrived, they learned the alleged victim was a 12-year-old boy who was robbed while walking to school.

The alleged victim told officers that a man, later identified as 19-year-old Sanson Rachu, came up behind him and demanded his jewelry.
