Said to be equal parts gastro pub, sports bar and social lounge, The Landing is scheduled to open April 9.

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas — The Landing, a new restaurant planned to open at the EpicCentral entertainment district in Grand Prairie, is looking to be a one-stop shop for those looking for a lively night out.

Dallas-based celebrity Chef Tiffany Derry is behind The Landing and her long record of creating food and experiences many can enjoy looks to be continued in this latest endeavor, which is being touted as equal parts gastro pub, sports bar and social lounge.

In a press release this week from Derry’s T2D Concepts, The Landing is described as a “destination where guests can gather for elevated comfort food, crafted cocktails, live entertainment and big-screen game-day energy.” The restaurant is said to offer sharable, “comfort-forward” dishes including smashburgers and wings alongside crafted cocktails. Watch parties, live entertainment and community-driven programming will be a focus of The Landing, says the release.

“The Landing is about giving people a place to come together,” Derry said in the release. “You can show up for the game, meet friends for cocktails, stay for live music, and share food that feels familiar but is elevated. We wanted to create a space with energy, but also a place that feels fun, welcoming, and worth coming back to.”

A two-time James Beard Award finalist and current judge on MasterChef, Derry’s profile has done much to elevate the reputation of restaurants and restauranters in North Texas. Most recently, WFAA covered the return of Derry’s Stef Food and Wine Festival, which also took place in Grand Prairie. The festival was said to showcase 30 of the nation’s best chefs.

The Landing will open April 9, with hours from 4 to 11 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays and from 12 noon to 11 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. More information on the restaurant can be found here.
