The Dallas Wings will host a free draft party on April 13 with exclusive content and perks for fans, celebrating their second consecutive No. 1 pick.
DALLAS — The Dallas Wings will host a WNBA Draft Party on Monday, April 13, at Happiest Hour, located at 2616 Olive St, in Downtown Dallas, the team announced Friday.Â
Doors will open to fans at 5:30 p.m. CT that day, ahead of WNBA Draft 2026, which airs on ESPN at 6 p.m. after a 5:30 p.m. draft pre-show. Tickets to the draft party are free, according to the Wings. All of the coverage will play throughout the venue.
Dallas has the No. 1 pick for the second year in a row, after selecting WNBA Rookie of the Year Paige Bueckers with the top pick last year.
The Wings also have the No. 31 pick in addition to the top selection.
Attendees to the draft party will see a behind-the-scenes, private message from General Manager Curt Miller and a live chalk talk session led by Ron Thulin, the play-by-play voice of the Wings. Fans will also be the first to have the chance to get Dallas Wings 2026 merchandise line and newly released single-game tickets.
There will also be a live sit-down conversation with a Wings player.Â
The first 300 fans will get complimentary food provided by the Wings and Happiest Hour. Complimentary tickets will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. Fans are encouraged to RSVP via the EventBrite link which will be live on Monday, March 30 on the Dallas Wings website. Â
The Wings open the 2026 season on the road against Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever. The first home game at College Park Center in Arlington is on Tuesday, May 12 at 7 p.m. against the Atlanta Dream. Â
