Damaged fire hydrant floods street in northwest Harris County neighborhood
Two men are on the run after fleeing from a vehicle that crashed into a fire hydrant Friday morning inside a northwest Harris County neighborhood, according to Pct. 4 constable deputies. (Copyright 2026 by KPRC Click2Houston – All rights reserved.)
HOUSTON – Two men are on the run after fleeing from a vehicle that crashed into a fire hydrant Friday morning inside a northwest Harris County neighborhood, according to Pct. 4 constable deputies.
The crash was reported near Archgate and Waynegate drives.
Witnesses reported the vehicle struck the hydrant, causing water to gush into the roadway, before they ran off. There were also reports of possible gunshots heard prior to the crash.
Deputies are actively searching the area.
If anyone see anything suspicious, contact authorities immediately.
