Sarah chatted about all things happening around Austin, while also introducing us to Minette, a senior French Bulldog from Austin Bulldog Rescue.

Sarah shared that Minette is “a fabulous senior,” around 12 years old, with a heartbreaking backstory—she was found abandoned in a crate near a dumpster before being rescued and given medical care.

Now in a loving foster home, Wolf said Minette “rules the castle” and has settled into a comfortable routine. Because she can be a bit particular with other dogs, Wolf noted she would likely do best as the only pet in the home, ideally with older kids. “She runs around like a little bowling ball,” Wolf added, making homes with middle school-aged children or older a better fit.

Wolf also highlighted Minette’s standout personality, describing her as “chatty” with a quirky sound “like a cute little alien,” adding that “we are obsessed.” She emphasized that Minette’s energy and charm make her a constant source of entertainment: “If you have this dog, you’re not going to be bored she will keep you entertained.”
In addition to spotlighting Minette, Wolf shared details about an upcoming Austin Bulldog Rescue event happening Sunday at Mercer Street Taproom. The “Bulls and Brews Bluebonnet Bash” will feature a silent auction, raffle opportunities, and adoptable dogs—including Minette herself, giving attendees the chance to meet her in person!
