Taylor Sheridan’s “Lioness” has wrapped filming on season 3 in Fort Worth.
The Paramount+ series follows CIA operative Joe (Zoe Saldaña) as she balances her “personal and professional lives as the tip of the spear in the agency’s war on terror.” Sheridan primarily writes the show himself and has directed a pair of episodes in the past.
Production in Fort Worth began in October 2025 and wrapped on Wednesday, March 25, according to a social media post from “Lioness” actor LaMonica Garrett.
“Bittersweet. Last day of filming,” Garrett said in an Instagram story. “You guys will not be disappointed. Season 3 loading.”

‘Lioness’ filming season 3 in Fort Worth
Over its five-month shoot, “Lioness” filmed in and around Fort Worth.
Scenes were shot at SGS Studios in the AllianceTexas area in far north Fort Worth. The 450,000-square-foot film and television production campus opened last year and has already welcomed three other Sheridan-produced shows in “Landman,” “The Madison” and “Dutton Ranch.”
“Lioness” closed roads in downtown for shooting at Wicked Butcher, the Sinclair Hotel, Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, the Hilton Fort Worth and at Fort Worth’s old city hall.
Production also closed streets around TCU in the University West and Berkeley Place neighborhoods.

When will ‘Lioness’ season 3 come out?
Paramount has not yet set a release date. However, if this season follows a similar timeframe as last, it shouldn’t be too long of a wait.
Production on season 2 ran from May to August 2024. The season then premiered on Paramount+ a mere two months later that October.
Typically, Sheridan-produced shows have a fast turnaround from wrap to premiere.
Production on “Landman” season 2 ran from March to August 2025 and premiered that November. “Yellowstone” spinoff “Dutton Ranch” shot from August 2025 to March 2026 and will premiere in May.
