A man died Friday morning after a shooting involving at least one California Highway Patrol officer, the Sacramento Police Department said.Police said they received an assistance call from CHP for a shooting around 12:03 a.m. near El Camino Avenue and Boxwood Street in the Old North Sacramento neighborhood.CHP said its officers pulled over a vehicle at that location. A man died Friday morning after a shooting involving at least one California Highway Patrol officer, the Sacramento Police Department said.

Police said they received an assistance call from CHP for a shooting around 12:03 a.m. near El Camino Avenue and Boxwood Street in the Old North Sacramento neighborhood.

CHP said its officers pulled over a vehicle at that location. At some point during the interaction between officers and the driver, the shooting happened. Details were not released on what led to the shooting.
