A Fort Worth man was sentenced to 60 years in federal prison Thursday after pleading guilty in December to producing sexually explicit videos of two children, U.S. attorneys said.

Keith Plaskonos, 68, pleaded guilty to two charges of using a child for the purpose of creating sexually explicit images, according to a statement from U.S. attorney Ryan Raybould’s office.

Plaskonos was arrested by Texas Department of Public Safety troopers at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport in November 2023 after someone reported him looking at animated child sexual abuse material on his phone.

After agents seized Plaskonos’ phone and extracted its contents, they found that Plaskonos had used cellphones to create explicit videos of two victims in 2021 and 2022, officials said.

Both victims were under age 5 at the time of the crime, according to the statement.
