In the bottom of the third, Talia Maldonado delivered a clutch two-RBI double to right center, scoring Sailor and Holland to give UTA its first lead of the game at 5-4.
In the bottom of the fourth, Mia McNulty extended the Mavericks’ advantage with a solo home run, pushing the lead to 6-4. The long ball marked her ninth of the season.
