SAN ANTONIO — A man was hospitalized in critical condition after a police say his girlfriend stabbed him during an argument at a South Side home.
The incident happened just before 4 a.m. on Saturday in the 700 block of Peabody Avenue near Crittendon.
Police said a 40-year-old man and his girlfriend were arguing in the home when the woman stabbed him multiple times and fled on foot.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital with multiple stab wounds.

The 22-year-old woman returned about 40 minutes later and was detained by police. It’s unclear what charges she may face.
