The weekend has arrived at the 2026 Texas Children Houston Open, which is the first of back-to-back PGA Tour events in the Lone Star State leading up to the Masters.

Gary Woodland carries the lead into the weekend after firing rounds of 63 and 64, while big names like Brooks Koepka and Rickie Fowler were sent packing after falling short of the 36-hole cutline. Players who made the cut will look to capture a PGA Tour title this weekend at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, where the winner will receive 500 FedEx Cup points, a $1.78 million winner’s check and some serious momentum heading into major season.

Final group tees off Saturday at Houston Open

The final group of Gary Woodland, Nicolai Hojgaard and Jackson Suber has teed off and the third round of the 2026 Texas Children’s Houston Open is fully underway. All three players made bogey at No. 1 to tighten up the leaderboard. Woodland still holds the solo lead as of 1:20 p.m. ET, two shots ahead of a tie for second between Jason Day and Sam Stevens.

Who leads the Houston Open?

Gary Woodland fired rounds of 64 and 63 over the first two days to get to 13 under and take a three-shot lead into the weekend. Nicolai Hojgaard had the best round of the day on Friday, though, shooting 8-under 62 to vault himself into a tie for second with Jackson Suber at 10 under. Defending Houston Open champ Min Woo Lee tied for fourth with fellow Australian Jason Day at 9 under.
