Texas vs Oklahoma: Live updates
Mid 4: Oklahoma 3, Texas 2
Not much to report on Oklahoma’s end, but of note for Texas: Dylan Volantis just enjoyed a pretty easy fourth inning. That’s notable because the second and third innings were treacherous.Â

After Texas scored two runs on Carson Tinney’s home run in the bottom of the third, Volantis went unscathed in the fourth on a couple of ground outs and a strikeout. He’s at 65 pitches through four innings.
End 3: Oklahoma 3, Texas 2
Jayden Duplantier had a long fly out. Maddox Monseur struck out. On three pitches.
But then Ethan Mendoza singled up the middle, and then Carson Tinney ripped a 1-1 breaking ball over the left-center field wall — his seventh home run of the season — to get Texas back into the game.Â

Mid 3: Oklahoma 3, Texas 0
Oklahoma looks like it has figured out Dylan Volantis early. The Texas left-hander was 1-2-3 efficient in the first inning, throwing only seven pitches, but the Sooners have riddled him with singles — and runs — in the second and third.Â
After falling behind 2-0 in the second inning, Volantis gave up another couple of hits and another run in the third. Brendan Brock led off with a single — OU’s fifth single of the game — and Jaxon Willits added a sixth single to place runners on first and second with no outs. Drew Dickerson’s single to right field scored Brock for the 3-0 lead.
The Sooners now have seven hits (all singles) off Volantis, who previously hadn’t allowed more than six hits in any previous game this season. He threw seven pitches in the first, 29 in the second and 20 more in the third. He’s sitting at 56 pitches through three innings.

End 2: Oklahoma 2, Texas 0
Not much to report in Texas’ half of the second inning. After falling behind 2-0, the Longhorns got a leadoff single from Adrian Rodriguez but didn’t generate anything after that.
Through two innings, Texas has one hit. Oklahoma has five hits and have left three on base.
Mid 2: Oklahoma 2, Texas 0
The Sooners loaded the bases with three singles off Dylan Volantis, who got his second strikeout of the game after the first two singles but then gave up a chopper to shortstop from Kyle Branch that scored Jaxon Willits and Jason Walk’s hit up the middle that brought in Deiten LaChance. A walk loaded the bases with two outs and Oklahoma up 2-0, but Volantis got Camden Johnson to ground out, a chopper that Volantis handled himself.
