Fort Worth, TX — Artes de la Rosa Cultural Center for the Arts proudly announces El TP: Memories of the Past, a powerful new exhibition curated by Chris Contreras, on view March 27 through April 25, 2026, at Galería de la Rosa – 1442 N. Main Street, Fort Worth, TX 76164.
This deeply meaningful exhibition honors “El TP,” a once-vibrant Hispanic barrio in West Fort Worth. Through a hand-drawn map, archival research, oral histories, photographs, and artifacts, the exhibition brings to life the stories, traditions, and resilience of the families who called this community home.
Although much of El TP has physically disappeared, its legacy endures through the memories and voices of its residents. El TP: Memories of the Past serves as a poignant reminder that even when places fade from the landscape, they remain alive through cultural memory, storytelling, and shared history.
